Meet our Pastors

Pastor Neil de Koning

Pastor Neil began his ministry at Woody Nook in the summer of 2001.  He is married with four children (three married) and five grandchildren.  It is his desire that the members of Woody Nook grow in their relationship with the Lord as they faithfully serve God in their daily lives. As a community of God's people, God calls us to build each other up and contribute to the spiritual formation of each member. He is author of a book, Guiding the Faith Journey, which he wrote to help leaders develop their skills in guiding people in their faith life. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing guitar, woodworking, and computer technology. He previously served congregations in Calgary, AB and Sarnia, ON .
